Important: A factory reset will delete all data on your phone. Ensure any important files are backed up before proceeding.

How to reset your Honor device via recovery mode

If you’re using an Honor device, follow these steps to perform a factory reset through recovery mode:

1. Turn off your phone: power off your device and wait a few seconds.
2. Enter recovery mode:
   
   • press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons simultaneously until the bootloader screen appears.
3. Navigate to factory reset:
   
   • use the Volume buttons to highlight Wipe data/factory reset and press the Power button to confirm.
4. Confirm the reset:
   -highlight Wipe data/factory reset again and press the Power button.
   
   • repeat this step once more to ensure all data is wiped.
5. Complete the process:
   
   • your device will now reset and reboot to factory settings.
